"Cheryl has been teaching me for the last 5 years. I thoroughly enjoy her lessons and she is extremely reliable. In my lessons, I always feel I make progress and they are challenging yet supportive. She considers both me and my horse and tailors her teaching to our individual ways and needs. In particular I have chronic arthritis which she finds creative ways to help me perform the best I can when I am struggling with stiffness and pain. She also helps me set goals to compete at riding club activities or just gain confidence and improve in what I enjoy doing with my horse from sponsored rides, cross country, jumping to dressage. I feel that she cares and she always asks me how I got on. Lastly she selflessly shares her vast equine experience which helps me manage my horses day to day."

“Cheryl Bezants has taught both my daughters & myself to ride over the last 8 years. I cannot recommend her more highly. She is a fantastic teacher with incredible top-level eventing experience, whilst also being excellent at teaching novices like myself. She is brilliant at explaining all levels of riding technique. She has a real talent at pushing you & the horse just a little bit further without asking too much of horse or rider – always giving confidence to both.”

"I have known Cheryl for many years. She has been an excellent trainer for both of my children in Pony club then for me as an adult rider; in all three disciplines. All her lessons are well planned and motivational. Each time we try to progress a little further and sort out any problems encountered. I have had some problems with confidence recently and she has managed to take me back to basics and improve things hugely. I’m now regularly going out and competing confidently and really enjoying doing so.
When we went away recently for several weeks, my horse went to stay with her as a training livery. He came back very fit, muscular and ready to go! In fact I think he has never looked or gone so well!.
I would highly recommend Cheryl for training both the rider and the horse, jumping and on the flat. She is easy to get on with and very confidence giving."

"We have known Cheryl for many years and have owned horses jointly with her for the past six years. Cheryl is a very talented rider and has a great depth of knowledge. This, together with her professional outlook means that she has our absolute trust in every aspect of the horses’ care and, most importantly, she always keeps us fully informed. She is an expert at bringing horses carefully up through the levels, getting inside their heads and giving them the time they need to develop. We get an enormous amount of pleasure seeing our horses gain in confidence and strength under her expert guidance. It is such a thrill to see them compete successfully - and she is great fun to work with!"

"Cheryl has not only been my trainer, but a great mentor, helping me progress from never having completed an event, to competing at Intermediate. Almost all that I know about eventing has come from her. In addition to training me, Cheryl produced my feisty little mare beautifully, putting the foundations in place for us to achieve everything we have done so far"
